William Pitt Lamb

William was educated at Westminster School,
leaving it to go to Christ Church College Oxford, in 1828. He moved on
from Oxford to Sydney College, Cambridge, in October 1830 and,
presumably, took a degree there before joining the Colonial Service in
which he served until he died unmarried at the early age of 33. 4
